Biography

The Systems Department studies relationships rather than objects.

Its research concerns how distinctions become structures and how structures constrain future selections.

Current work focuses on emergence, structural coupling and adaptive systems.

The Department considers stability to be a temporary property rather than a permanent condition.

Selected Publications

  • Structural Coupling in Autonomous Worlds
  • Variety Before Stability
  • Emergence Without Intent
  • Operational Closure Revisited

Institute Note

The Department maintains that every disagreement inside the Institute is itself a systems phenomenon.
