Biography
Very little is known about Mr. Distinction before the establishment of The Observatory.
Institute records indicate that he studied under G. Spencer-Brown before withdrawing almost completely from public academic life.
Following the Discovery in 1977 he accepted the position of First Rector and supervised the development of the Institute's earliest observational principles.
He maintained that every observation begins with a distinction and consistently refused to speculate about what exists before one is drawn.
He later retired from public activity without explanation.
No formal resignation has ever been located in the archives.
